Can you Milk a Rhino?
One of the paramount challenges of our times is to empower African communities to break out of poverty by leveraging their unique cultural and natural resources. Traditional international efforts for poverty alleviation and environmental conservation have frequently resulted in increased dependence on foreign aid and in environmental degradation. Therefore, students are invited to identify solutions that engage indigenous communities in self-determined development through social entrepreneurship and the sustainable use of their cultural and natural resources.
